Late Ayurvedacharya Vaidya Vilas Madhusudhan Nanal

 

 


He is the third generation of the Nanal dynasty, who actively carried his legacy on his shoulders. He has truly expanded the horizons of Ayurveda through his extensive work in different fields related to Ayurveda. Apart from practicing pure Ayurveda and imparting education to the students of various Ayurvedic colleges. He has been actively associated with many charitable institutes such as Tilak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya, Tarachand Hospital, Bhide Trust, Sasoon General Hospital Ayurvedic Department and a few more. In 1996 he took an initiative to start the Cardiac OPD in Tarachand Hospital. He was a member of the steering committee of Planning Commission of INDIA, the Department of AYUSH for the 11th planning commission and was the chairman of sub committee for Ayurvedic education.

 

 

 


Late Vaidya Vilas Nanal has set many protocols to effectively manage Thalassemia, a range of Cancers, Cardiac Disorders, HIV AIDS, Degenerative Joint disorders, Progressive Blindness, Pregnancy Anemia and many more. He brought all his activities under the roof of Vaidya M. P. Nanal Ayurveda Foundation, a charitable organization in the memory of his father Late
Vaidya M. P. Nanal in 1994. He had published his research in both Indian, English and European languages.

 

He has carried out extensive work on herbs and food substances that ?nd no mention in classical texts of Ayurveda, such as Beejaparna - Kalancho Pinnata, Custard, Vegetable
Oil and presented the same in international conferences.

His interpretation of Anatomy With reference to Ayurvedic knowledge base is regarded in high esteem by the Ayurvedic fraternity e.g. the concept of Kloma. He has extensively moved all over INDIA in di?erent forests and has a vast knowledge about herbs, he extends the same to farmers, students and others. He enjoys the privilege of consulting patients from all over the world and trains doctors of various knowledge & streams on
Ayurveda in Germany, Italy, and the USA.

He regularly contributed articles in a number of news papers , peer reviewed journals on conceptual and upcoming diseases like HlNl, Cancer and Ayurveda. He was the research advisor to various organizations all over India such as “Foundation for Revitalization of Local Health Traditions” , Bengaluru, Indian Institute of Ayurveda, CDAC, Pune.
